“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” (John 15:16, NIV)
For nine days Covenant Church of Odessa together with the team from Pennsylvania were preaching the Gospel in the streets, in children’s facilities, and in the temporary shelter for refugees from the war zone in southeastern Ukraine.
During those days hundreds of people heard the Good News about the love of the Heavenly Father. Together with words of love, the missionaries gave the needy clothes and essentials which had been gathered especially for the event. Love and care shown in such a way softened hardened souls and the Word of GOD deeply touched the hearts. During those days, almost three hundred people responded to an invitation to receive Jesus!
The following Sunday the place where the church had Sunday service was overcrowded. There came twice as many people than the hall could hold. At the end of the sermon fifty people came up to the front to give their lives to GOD in prayer.
